needed to work in the studio today...but couldn't resist going for a ride this morning...met up with Josepe' at 9AM and headed from the shop towards Jones...all hills, all day...got totally cooked and felt great!
back to the shop for a cold garden hose shower, to the house to take care of the dogs and then to the Red Cup for a PBBH sandwich (peanut butter, bananas and honey...on wheat toast)...that hit the spot...then went back to the shop and worked until 11:15PM...made good progress and the week still seems hopeful at this point...worked on commission stuff but thought about sculptures...
still trying to come to terms with the emotional emergence concepts...and how to express those physically...hidden inner emotions and the peeling away of layers, all expressed in very simple forms...the pieces I've done previously, while I've been happy with them, don't seem to be where I want to be...
oh well, such is making art...
I guess.
